I’m thinking of writing a post about the ‘It will always be this way’/ ‘X isn’t going away’ argument used when feminists question patriarchal institutions, as it strikes me as a line used by people who don’t want things to be any other way than ‘this way’. Is it not a form of moral abdication, used to mock those who have the intellect to see that things can be different? Anyway, I’m thinking about it. Meanwhile, I took these pictures at a station:

it’s just a front – they are seagull spies and have just made a drop. don’t you watch spooks?
or maybe they are just two of millions of seagulls about to visit a richard littlejohn rally and use their seagullish skills to make this world a little happier. hope they had a nice big lunch of something rancid…
